Mr. Bernabei holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and an MBA from the Milan Polytechnic. In Singapore and Paris, he participated in an INSEAD International Executive Program as well as a Risk Evaluation in Decision-Making course at IESE and the Leadership for Energy Management Program at SDA Bocconi (Milan) and IESE (Barcelona).
As well as being a director of Enel Chile, he has been Country Head of Chile and the Andean Countries for Enel Green Power (EGP) since 2013. As from the end of 2011, he had previously served as Head of Operations and Maintenance in EGPE (EGP Iberia Assets) at Enel Green Power and, in 2010, as its Coordinator of Engineering and Construction Resources for Iberia and Latin America.
From May to October 2010, he was its Coordinator of Engineering and Construction Resources for Iberia and simultaneously acted as Manager of Safety and Environment and Manager of Project Execution at EGP Europe (November 2009-April 2010) and Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables (November 2009-April 2010), respectively.
His first position at Enel was as Logistics Manager for Enel Distribuzione in 1999.
Mr. Bernabei also worked in the Galgano & Associati companies as a Junior Consultant and in Alcoa CMSA, where he began his career in 1997.
